Checking My Itinerary List

My mind is so drifted with many possible things to put into my itinerary list in order to reach my goal next year. Partly I am happy to realize that I can now put a check mark in my number one list, Philippine Stocks. I haven't imagine how surprisingly fun it is studying the trend of economy and how a stock is affected. Ok so my number two which fortunately I have managed to start doing it now, “Feasibility Study”. Also excited to finish it and to actually put it into realization. Third on the list, Hmmm I think it will involve a little bit more of technical aspect this time. I need to apply my IT skills rather buying it, which will just make an add-on cost to my investment requirements. What’s the fourth? I’m not sure yet at this time but I feel that it will involve more on paper works like business registration and many others. I’ll just go on with flow and will make necessary adjustments whatever necessary.

It's exciting to think about it really and I’m sincerely hoping that I will be able to accomplish my goal. I will be glad to become an entrepreneur even just a small time one. The idea of applying what I have learned out from my 2yr and half of MBA years makes my feet lifted from the ground and can’t wait to do it.

Well in the meantime, I need to do well in my present job now because I'll be getting all financial resources from my salary. Hope things will turn out smoothly.

Aiming High

Let's aim high Pinay!

As a second year student of MBA class, we were required to come up with a feasibility study about anything we wish to venture. We were told to group ourselves into four and will work together as a team for this project. My group is composed of all girls working in different establishments. It's very exciting and cute actually working with all girls just like here in my office. PINK RULES! hehehe. By the way, I and my group mates came up with putting up a learning center for kindergartens and nurseries targeting a specific subdivision here in my city where construction of the site is still in progress. Last Sunday, we have conducted a house-to-house market survey and it was a mission accomplishment for us. That was my first time to do that. What an experience! Staying away from dogs, dealing with respondents’ apprehensions and managing a smooth conversation were really very challenging. And aside of that at the middle of our survey it rained so hard. So we went to my officemates house which is just nearby in the survey area and stayed there for awhile while waiting for the rain to stop. Afterwards, we went to a certain subdivision and there we have decided to make it as our target site where we’ll be going to construct our learning center. We did had fun aside of learning much. What an adventure. We're really aiming to continue this project even after graduation. Hopefully! I have faith. Who knows..

STRESS – unhealthy ways to reduce weights

One of my officemate whom I haven’t seen for a month visited my office and told me that I did lost some weights. Well that's music to my ear but I'm not really into dieting lately. Yes I do circuit workout every weekend but after doing my exercise, I eat a lot LOL. But this is maybe because I'm so stress these past few days. Managing your time for family, school and work is really not easy. But after getting everything done, fulfillment awaits. Good thing my trip to Cebu was postponed because our sales team is still negotiating our proposal to the client. Boss called yesterday and told me to construct another application for a telecom client located at one of the provinces in Manila. Hmmm I don’t have to worry, my girls are the best. We can handle the challenge *wink*. I'll be attending my Marketing Management class tonight. I'm actually one of the reporters. We made some preparation lat night together with my group mates. Hope it will be a smooth class discussion. We also plotted our timeline last night, gossshhh hope we could manage it all. Our days are too busy but I'll never ever neglect my family. How could I neglect my source of strength? Glad they're very supportive. I really did enjoy my MBA days and my new found friends. Hope they're still there after graduation day. I'm going to miss them all for sure.

Meeting The New Year..A Prospect of Becoming a Better Me!

2007 will soon end and it's now a new beginning as we enter 2008. At this early, I'm already preparing the things needed in venturing the world of entrepreneurship. As a part of our MBA course, we are assigned to put up our own business and make it prosper throughout the entire semester. If fortunate enough, we could continue running the business and make it grow even bigger. I have decided to start my own this coming January so that I will be able to run the whole business setup smoothly by the mid of next year. I'm now collecting facts and techinques in handling meat processing business. I have already performed some experiments and have recorded the success and failure rates of my try outs. I have decided to run meat processing business since I have already tried it before and so far it gave me good returns considering the fact that people do really eat three times a day. However this time, I'm experimenting the taste since I want to make my own trademarks. So far the experiments is doing well but I'm still searching for a little bit more when it comes to taste uniqueness. I have listed too my prospect consumers and now starting to formulate my pricing schemes including packaging and marketing. I'm sure this would be so exciting and I wish 2008 will bring goodluck to my new business. I will just start investing little but will give big efforts for it. I know I can do this. GoodLuck to me!

Stock Trading Game

I know...these past few days I really havent got the chance to update my blog.. huhuhuhu. I was really too busy with my work and my studies. Last week was my Financial Management report and the preparation period was really a bit tough. Well anyway, ma and my groupmates have delivered it last saturday and so far it went ok. Something happened in the middle of our report though but when it comes to overall judging on how we delivered it, it's still excellent. Well, that's my biased. hehehe. I'm happy this morning because finally I got myself joined in the virtual stock trading game tournament. And today I'm so overwhelmed because I gained from my initial investments. I bought volumes of Petron Corporation, Mega world, and Philex mining stocks and so far it gave me good returns. I'm new to this so I easily get excited whenever there's progress in my stock trading portfolio hehehe. I'm monitoring the ticker tape now of Philippine Stock Exchange and hope I will gain more hehehe. Well 'till my next blog.

Time Management

Whoaa.. it's a bit tough for me to maintain everything. I never expected to be so very busy at these early at school. I'm struggling now to finish what has to be done in work, school assignments, and ofcourse taking good care of my family, my home. It's just so happen that I have lots of things to be done here in the office and all of it need to be fisnished as soon as possible. I got a little time now updating my blog but I will still see to it that once in awhile I could post new blogs. Today is a busy day but this day brought me a good news. After several months of waiting, I finally now have the result of my petition to correct my middle initial which was mistakenly encoded in my birth certificate. At last I could now secure a passport and start trying my luck applying for work in the US. Yep, I have this in mind working outside my country so I could save more and prepare for the future. I will be doing this not only for myself but for the future of my love ones. Emotionally it would be hard but I can take everything for them. Hmmmm before getting emotional now I think I should be back to work hehehe. Till my next blog.

Too early for pressure at school... :(

I have attended all my masteral classes last week and so far as per evaluation is concern, the subjects were all tough. Well not to mention the Financial Management which involves monitoring of current events and the present status of our economy today. Our professor even challenged us to register at www.citiseconline.com and play the trading game in there. It's kind of challenging and interesting though; imagine we are going to picture ourselves as real traders and inventors. Initially upon registration, we will be given virtual money worth 1,000,000.00 pesos and it will be up to us how to maximize our capital and make it more profitable. Buying and selling of stocks would be the greatest challenge. It's like really transacting to big companies. I'm really excited and will going to register online later. Who knows, I may really apply this in the future. I think learning all about Financial Management is a bit fun, exciting and above all challenging considering the fact that my under graduate course is in the field of Engineering. So that would be Engineering to Economic Study, wow! Scarcely easy to adjust hehehe. As to my Written Analysis Case subject, our professor has given us our first case. I have initially read it and started to formulate my analysis on it. Talking about Management Accounting, well I'm going to present a case tomorrow night together with my group mates so it's going to be a long night tonight doing the preparation for it. Woooahhh!!! I've never expected to be pressured already at this early. Well, I'm going to try my best to learn everything so goodluck to me...*wink* Till my next blog, back to work!

Second Semester... Here it comes...

Last Saturday, it was my chance to visit MBA office to ask for my 1st semester grades and ofcourse to enroll for the second sem. I was a bit nervous for the grades because definitely my subjects before was also a bit tough especially the Quantitative Analysis For Management. When finally the secreretary handed me my grades, I was overwhelmed with joy because I really didnt expected to recieve an A- grade. This is equivalent to 90-95 ratings. Both my Human behavior and Quantitative analysis subjects gave me this grade. Indeed I was thankful and very happy. I finally managed also to enroll last saturday however it took me awhile to write down in the registration form to what subject should I enrol. I thought i couldnt make it this second sem because I have too much pressure at work due to new projects assigned to me and all of them needs to be finished ASAP. But with the help of my team, I'm sure we will be able to deliver them on time. And so I took full loads for this semester. My subjects are Written Analysis Case (WAC), Financial Management and Accounting 2. Im a bit excited now to see my classmates again who happened to be dissapointed when they learned that I will not be able to enroll for this sem but gladly I made it.. Hmmmm it feels good knowing that your friends truly love you and wanted your company. Anyways, my classes starts tomorrow. See you friends , till our next happy journey and fun moments together...
