Exhausted

I feel so exhausted now. Wish I could do my workout today so I could burn some calories and regain some strength. I wish to do it tonight but I think me and my PBE group mates’ needs to meet to discuss our report for Monday since we couldn't do it tomorrow night. I'm listening to some Bossa Nova songs now but the more I hear it the more I wanted to have some workout. I usually play Bossa Nova when doing some exercise because it helps me relax. I'm doing some programming now for our Hospital Application but my body is aching. I did my workout last Sunday but it has to be twice a week but now I'm just doing it once huhuhu. Before I'm doing it thrice a week. So it doesn't matter if I ate and ate and ate because the calories will be burned anyway. But now I still ate and ate but workout is just once a week. Hmmm maybe that's the reason I'm getting heavier now LOL. Should I go later and meet my group mates? But I really wish to have some workout tonight after office hours. Huhuhu what shall I do??

I had fun @ Duka

Last Saturday was indeed a successful event as we held our annual outing at Duka Bay Resort. I had fun although I didn’t got the chance to do the snorkeling. I just can't :-(. But anyway we did enjoy the event and we've accomplished our primary purpose and that is to do team building. Our CEO was there too and it seemed that he really did enjoyed seeing his people participating in the games that we had prepared especially the "SURVIVOR" game. He even donated additional cash as prizes for the games. It's actually our own rendition of improvising the mechanics of the game "SURVIVOR". We had prepared the obstacles and it was indeed quite hard to perform it. But still all the teams had cooperated besides cash prize is now bigger. The cheering competition was very good too and as what we had promised; before the competition started we presented a cheer dance to them. We had lots of bloopers while doing it but overall it still went well. Foods were great. There were lots of leftovers so most of the people just brought it to their homes. I think I brought some too LOL. Anyway, since I couldn't do swimming at that time, I spend much of my time mingling and talking to people especially to the bosses. Our CEO talked to me and he gave lots of inspirational words. I shared my experiences while studying MBA and he gave lots of advices and wisdom. He even told me to look for a book title "BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY". It's all about management and surviving in a business. Hope I could get a chance to actually read the content of this book. I have lots of plans in the future and I'm preparing myself for it. Well that includes learning a lot while still young. I will start looking for this book in the bookstore and maybe from a friend so I could borrow. By the way, I cut my hair a bit. Applying some hair styles for a change. I feel and look different too. I guess.. I don't know. You be the judge. LOL. Also, below is a picture from DUKA beach. Glad I could post some of it here. Hope you like it. Till my next blog.

HEP! HEP! HOORAY!!

Boy we're too busy practicing our cheering chants for tomorrow's outing event. As the game committee, we need to think of something that could give encouragement to the three teams that will be competing tomorrow. Highlight of the event would be the cheering computation therefore we need to present a cheer dance number as the introductory of the program. Oh my!! My team wanted me to stay in the front and hold a microphone to sing at the same time dance.Gossh I feel too shy doing this but it seemed my team enjoyed it a lot so I guess I just have to let myself do it besides as a team we bond each other more. So this will be our break from all those pressures. Ok Let's sing and dance...!!!

Outing Theme: Hawaiian
Teams: POLU, MELE, ULA

This is our cheer chants.. LOL

(Tune of "Katawan" by Hagibis)
La la la la la la la la ohhhh (2x)
"Lingon agad pag ang POLU ay dumaan
Lalo pa't magaganda ang katawan
At saka nakakalokang tingnan.. "

Go go go go go go go PULO... (2x)

(Coke commercial beat)
"Sila ang team sabay2x
Sila ang team walang sablay
Pabilis ng pabilis
Di nag mimiss, di nag mimiss
Get's mo na? Get's mo na?
Ahhhhhhh, Ula Ula.."

(Tune of "Wowowee by Lito Camo")
"Wowowee sila ang team Mele Mele
Dahil sa team nato ay di ka magsisi
Wowowee lamang ba ang Mele Mele?
Yan ang aabangan ng marami.."

(Tune of "Name Game by Laura Branigan")
"Come on everybody.
We say now let's play a game.
We betcha we can make a rhyme
Out of anybody's name.
The first letter of the name
We treat it like it wasn't there.

But a "P" or a "U" or a "M" will appear.

Ok, let's try POLU

I need a graphic artist !!!!

We've been maximizing whatever available resources in our department due to cost cutting policy mandated by the management. But this time I really need to push my request to hire a graphic artist. Yes, we know the basic of graphics editing but graphics designing is a way different. It takes some talents in order to produce an appealing and eye catching view. I even personally do some editing’s but for me I know someone could do the job better. Although it's challenging doing multi-tasking but sometimes it feels hard especially if you don’t specialized that field. Anyway, my boss will be here today so I need to discuss it with him. I'm still sleepy this morning but I need to finish lots of things now. This coming Saturday is our company outing and I and my team were assigned as the games committee. It will be held at DUKA RESORT so I'm going to see DUKA AGAIN :( huhuhu !!! Our departure would be 5:30am so I need to get up early then :(. By the way, summer class is doing great in fact I'm having fun aside of learning. I do have class tomorrow night but I think I won't make it because Boss is here and I'm sure we will be having lots of meetings with clients. Also as the games committee for the outing event we need to prepare everything. Till then. Back to my graphics editing now :(

Giving A New Look

I have personally created a simple header graphic for this blog to give it a fresh new look. It's not that much but I’m hoping you will like it. It's been awhile since I have started updating this blog and it helps me a lot in giving an ease to my troubled emotions by sharing my feelings, sentiments, and experiences to all of you. Also, I want to express my sincerest thanks to all of you whom until now still there to support me. The above image actually includes a picture of me but I cannot let you see my whole face because I prefer to be mysterious sometimes; well except of course to those friends of mine who knew me already in person. Sometimes being a stranger to many people could help me pour out and write all those things that may just come to my mind and my heart. Anyway, I'm still thinking of some other ways to improve this site. So I'm hoping you will visit my blog again. Thank You.

A ride with "Amboy"

I had an exciting adventure yesterday as me and my classmates in MBA visited the town of Camp Philips Bukidnon. While we are on our way to the club house, we made a stopover at the pineapple plantation of Del Monte Philippines. Oh it was so wide that I couldn't even see where it ends. We took some pictures in there and after that we move on to the club house and there we had so much fun doing the horse back riding. It was actually my first time that's why it was so scary for me. At first, I decided not to try it because I was too afraid that I might fall causing my bones to break. But with the encouragement of my friends, I finally got my nerve to choose a horse and sit in the saddle. And that's where I met "Amboy". He's actually the only male horse in there. The rest were all females yet their quite strong and wild. "Amboy" is kind of different. He is quite and gentle that's why when I first look at that horse, I have decided to ride on him. The owner of that horse ride with me too and he sits at the back. At first, It was too scary especially when the horse do a little of galloping. I thought I'm going to be thrown upfront. But after awhile, I learned to balance my body allowing me to move in accordance to the gesture of the horse. It was so nice. I felt like I'm doing a scene for "Tanduay" commercial LOL. The weather was a bit hot during that time but the wind blows beautifully. At last I have experienced now the feeling of being a horse rider just like what I have usually read in my pocket book stories. It is indeed true that when riding a horse, you should ride and feel as one. I was able to touch the hair of the horse. He was so gentle and friendly. I'm not going to forget you "Amboy". Well after the horse back riding, we went to Obrero's place also known as Montegelo Farm. It's a nice place too. There you could find varieties of "Anturium" plants, a pool and falls. There's a videoke bar in there too. We haven't stayed long in there because it was already raining heavy so we went to another place and had our snacks while sharing our experiences riding the horse. It was just a one day tour but I had so much fun already. Couldn’t wait for another adventure similar to this. Till Then!

Crying Again :(

I couldn't help it :-(. Last night I was crying again while watching that Korean movie "A Moment To Remember". The story is sad yet it was really full of love. It tells about the a couple whom at first their life living together seemed very perfect. However, Alzheimer's Disease ruined it all as it was bestowed to the 27 year old Kim Soo-Jin (the main character lady). Her husband, a very tough guy and even temperamental suffer the plight of dealing it out. He may not be very vocal of telling how much he loves the girl, but his love for her is very, very deep. What made me cry really was when the girl called her husband by the name of her ex-boyfriend and tells him that she loves him. Her husband pretends that it was really his name and he answered back that he too loves her. It really touches my heart. Alzheimer's Disease case will erase your recent memories first. It will make you forget your families, friends and even yourself. Just like what the girl told her husband, "I have an eraser in my head". Although the girl truly loves her husband all she could remember is her past. It was really sad but for me it's a realization of what a loving person really means and what is forgiveness is all about. It's just giving a room to one's heart. Oh I hate it when I cry because my nose really turns to red and my eyes will be swelling in the morning. But I do love the movie because it touches my heart. Can't wait to watch another Korean movies again. I'll try tonight LOL. Back to my work now.

Korean Telenovelas

It was a marathon of Korean Movies for me this week. I have managed to watch 200 Pounds beauty, My little bride , 100 days with Mr. Arrogant, Innocent Steps and Love Me Not. They were all very nice films and most it were romantic comedy story. 200 Pounds Beauty is a bit touching. It talks about a very fat ugly lady (named Hannah) but who sings like an angel. She has a very marvelous voice that anyone who could hear her songs will surely fall inlove with her. However, whenever she sings she just stays at the backstage where she does her singing while another performer will be seen in the main stage doing a lip sync of her song :( . So sadly, people mistakenly love and adore that performer without knowing that she is not the real singer of the songs. Hannah desperately falls inlove with the producer. It was enough for her loving him at a distance. Seeing him each day and feeling that he cares were enough and too overwhelming for her. But the world seemed too cruel that's why she was so determined to undergo an unimaginable operations from head to toe just to make her beautiful. For her, it would be a rebirth since she was already dead that moment humiliation ate her up alive. And indeed she became beautiful and was able to sing in front of the cameras. The audience love her; however she realized that true happiness could not be measured by having beautiful face but with the bountiful of love you could get from your friends and families. I really love the story. Honestly I do have lots of insecurities but I'm trying hard to replace it with gratitude with what I have now and what I have achieved despite of my wekanesses. Sometimes I feel I became greedy already. I keep on asking for more where infact I am already blessed with enough love more than what I have hoped for before. Now I realize that GOD made me this way for me to be reminded always to put my feet in the ground and be grateful with what I have . I should never belittle myself just because of my stupid insecurities. Life must go on and we should live it to the fullest while it lasted. Well anyway, I'm glad I was able to do my work out last night. It feels so refreshing this morning. Next week will be the start of my summer class. It would be a tough days again. But I know I can make it. Time management and staying healthy will help a lot. Till Then :=)
