Stairway To Heaven

It was a marathon of Korean telenovela for me last weekend. Me and my sister find our bonding moment as we spent sleepless nights just to finish that 21 volume cd's of a very romantic yet very sad korean movie entitled "Stairway To Heaven". It was too sad that we kept on crying from beginning till end LOL. The story was all about two lovers struggling to fight for their love. When finally their love was given a chance, the girl found out that she has eye cancer. The doctor advised her to remove her eyes inorder for the cancer cells not to spread to others parts of her body but the girl was very hesitant about it. There's another man in the scene who is also madly inlove with this girl. He was too inlove that he gave up his life just to donate his cornea to the girl for her to be able to see again. Indeed the girl was given the chance to see again through his eyes. She was too happy as she was with her true love. However, the story ended with too much grief because the girl did died since the cancer has already spread to the other organs of her body. The guy who actually became her husband in the scene was left behind but he knows someday they will meet again. Though very sad, I still love the movie and the soundtrack too. I did search for the album and fortunately I was able to donwload it. The music is too romantic, full of love yet full of sadness and separation. Love indeed is the most beautiful part in this world. Advance Happy Valentines to All!!

A New Day

It's definitely a lovely morning today. I feel inspired and a bit excited with my iteneraries for today. After lunch time I'll be out in the office to test my driving skills. I have no choice now but to really drive because most of the time I'll be out in the office to attend clients meeting. I told myself before that I will never put myself in the drivers seat and just always be a passenger because of my traumatic experience few years ago. I was seating in the front seat during that time as we travel the winding road of Gingoog when suddenly our pick up was hit by a "Bagong Lipunan" bus almost head on. All I could remember was the window glasses were broken into pieces and some of it was caught in my eyes. The driver that time, a co-worker of mine dont have the choice but to stay calm and try to open his eyes despite of the broken glasses because if not we will fall in the cliff. It was traumatic for him too since he needs lots of operations just to get the smallest pieces of that glasses from his two eyes. Since that incident, I never sit in the front seat; how much more in driving a car. That was two years ago when the management ask me to handle Consumer Information Technology Department which basically handles client's concerns and implement systems anywhere in the neighboring areas; that I have started to conquer my fear and force myself to sit in the front seat. It was too hard for me especially whenever a big bus is approaching. It feels like I want to jump and it's like a flashback to me. After one year, I feel ok with the front seat issue and recently I have started to drive a car. It's a bit scary still up to now but I'm conquering my fears. Presence of mind and be extra careful when driving are the importnat things to consider. I can do this. If other woman could do it, why can't I? *wink*

I'll put you in a box.

I'll put you in a box and keep it somewhere very safe close to my heart so that I could open it whenever I want to open it and could reminisce the happy thoughts and tickling moments that I have experienced on that one beautiful evening. A one time experience that may not happen again because reality will always be there to disallow it to happen again. Asking for more is not my intent because the thoughts alone is enough for someone who is already planted in a pot and being taken cared and nurtured by a master allowing it to bloom beautifully each day. I realized you are the missing piece which I have searched for quite sometime already. I found you now but alas there's nothing I could do to hold you forever. Recognizing your existence and savoring whatever happy memories that I could collect are the only things that I'm allowed to do. If only I could turn the time just once, I will go back to the time where reality is more cooperative to me. I will collect everything there is and put it inside a box. And perhaps someday fate will lead me back to you so I could let you see what's inside in the box and it's magic of completing my missing piece.......

Our Upcoming Projects

January is quite too hectic for me and my team. This month is a full blast distirbution and implementation of the systems we have developed last year to our prospect clients. Number of clients have already signed up to subscribe the financial system we have introduced in the market. Some were already on their demo period now and some were for full implementation schedules. As part of the developer who designed and developed the system, it's quite overwhelming to see that the system whe have created was appreciated by the end users not only with the looks of the the application but as well as the overall functionalities the system could provide. It's quite a bit challenging for us because we are about to implement a Billing System integrated with a comprehensive accounting system to a telecommunication company here in my city. They have 20 sites or they call it local exchanges so this would mean we will be going to visit all these sites to complete the implementation of the system. Hmmm, that sounds fun and full of adventure. I'm sure my programmers feels the same way too. Anyway, I need to get everything ready including giving recommendations in terms of technical requisites like server specifications, operating system, installation protocols, users access, connectivity and many more. I just wish, i will still have time to retouch *wink*. Well,I know this will be a tough one but I'm sure we will be going to implement this successfully. So programmers... stay put 'coz it's going to be a bumpy ride for us.

Something Creepy.........

Last Saturday dawn I have experienced something creepy at home. Maybe it was just a coincidence or maybe just a product of my imagination. It was 3 o'clock in the morning when I get off from bed and go to my study room so I could review my notes in FinMan (Financial Management) because I'll be having my midterm exam later in the afternoon. While studying, I have decided to play some inspirational songs to help me concentrate. And so I played my Christian Songs collection and just go on with my review. It was almost 4 o'clock in the morning and the songs were still playing when suddenly I heard a loud noise of things downstair. I was a bit afraid because I thought it might be some burglar roaming around inside the house. And so I made some loud noise too calling names of family members to help me check what's going on downstair. Our housemate woke up and put the lights on to check where that noise came from. She said she didn't hear any noise. But I told her to check it again because I really hear it very clearly. We looked around and everything was in place execpt for one thing. We were very surpised when we looked at the altar. Everything was no longer there; the Holy bible, the statues of the saints, the rosary guides and others were all there in the floor. It was really a bit weird because it never happened before. I dont want to take that seriously because I might start igniting fears especially when we're at the study room. Anyway, we just casually picked it up and I continued with my review. I'm trying to leave that thoughts in my mind but sometimes I feel it kind of weird. Of all the times why at that hours and the christian musics playing in my computer. We've decided to let the house be blessed by a priest next month. Maybe someone or something is in there... wooh i dont want to think about that :-(. I just pray hard for protection and safety of the family members.

Hooray! The product presentation went well...

When I woke up early this morning, my head was aching badly. Actually, I already had it since yesterday afternoon after our unsuccessful attempt in deploying our system to one of our client. Although I have that headache, I still need to get up. And so I just drink some pain reliver to at least give some relief of the pain. And besides, I really need to go to work because I have a 10 o'oclock product presentation and system development to a telecommunication client. Together with my programmer and a representative from our engineering team, we visited their office and had everything what has to be done. Thank GOD, the connection setup was successfully configured allowing our client to explore our system. I was a bit surprised because their President was there and was asking me to give a product presentation to him. Oh my gosh! I wasn't even prepared for it and this time I should set aside the technical side and be a sales person for that moment LOL. Anyway, what I did was stand firm and be as confident as I can be. So I showed him a live presentation of the entire system and explained every relevant details and functinalities which I think his company needed the most. I was so thankful that he understood everything that I've said and even appreciated the system a lot. He's so interested that he even gave directives to his people to finalize our setup agreement with them. Woooshhh! It's mission accomplish for me and my team. Well, I'll just wait for a go signal from our management if should we push through the implementation to them. I know it would be another challenge for us but I'm sure we will be able to deliver everything they need. I'm just glad with what I'm becoming right now; being a mature and more confident woman. My challenge is to keep it up and be strong always. Never allow pressure and dissapointments be mixed up with any decision that I'll be making particularly when it comes to my job.

Birthday Party

Hooray!! The Kiddie Birthday Party that we held last Sunday was so fun and successful despite of the rain. Lots of kids have still managed to come and join the birthday celebration of a loveone so dear to me. The foods were great; well ofcourse is it I who personally prepared it *wink*. My parents have supported the party a lot and gave some donations not to mention "The Lechon", yum! yum! Thanks Nanay and Tatay. The kids have enjoyed the party a lot. Thanks to Kuya Jang who is so energetic during that time as he managed to organize the games and distribution of prices. I was happy to see that everything went well and too overwhelming that the celebrant was so happy. Every efforts that I made was really worth it.

Heaven Knows... No frontiers...

It's another monday and I feel good this morning. I feel inspired today as I listen to the song of one of my favorite band, The Corrs. It's called "No Frontiers". This is a mellow song and it's definitely lovely. It talks about life, our dreams and the truth that lies in each hearts. Oh again I fell inlove with their songs. It is so nice to start our day with such an inspiring mood. Good thing for me I have recovered easily from sleepless nights. Last week was way to tiring especially that my boss was here and we did some sales presentation to some of the companies here in my city. Well schooling is still there and as usual case analysis and reporting grrrr.. sometimes irritating though LOL. Last night I wasn't able to sleep early because I was fixing my computer at home at the same time I was studying my report for tomorrow's class. This week is a challenging week for me. Me and my team need to finish now the Point Of Sale System that we've been developing since we need to launch the system by February. It's also a preparation week for me for a birthday party of a family member very, very dear to me. Hope I will finish all the things that need to be done. Ofcourse exercise is still in my list. It is important for me to stay healthy, energetic and beautiful inside and out *wink*. 'Till my next blog.

Here's the video of The Corrs performing live "No Frontiers". Hope you will like it too the way I did.

New Year Resolution List

It's New Year and I should have some resolutions for this year. I have been thinking what would it be? I have lots of things to resolve emotionally LOL. Well, first and foremost I should be more focus and should give direction to every decision that I'll be making. I should stop thinking on things or scenarios that is far from reach now. Putting some limitation to myself would help a lot like restraining myself to entertain temptations in life LOL. Next to my list is to stay healthy and beautiful always *wink*. Maybe i will do my workout three times a week now. I should stop drinking cola huhuhuhu, I cannot finish a day without having some intakes on it. I'm a cola addict. But from now on, I should restrain myself and drink juice instead. Well I dont drink beer only red wines so no beer resolutions. I should be more careful now specially when talking to friends very close to me. Because of too much closeness, I sometimes become tactless to them. I should be more objective when it comes to work and acting as the manager of my team. So far last year, I have attained one of my objectives and that is stop confining myself in a small room. But instead spread my wings and have lots of friends. I'm fortunate enough to comply this especially when I enrolled in MBA. I have found my new treasures in life. Another resolution for this year is to make my hair long till hips. Well, it's till waist now so more to go. Scissors, stay away from me LOL. I wish to travel to beautiful places too this year. So I'm hoping for good opportunities to come. "Stay young, stay healthy and stay beautiful" , these will do the luck. Cheers! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
